Unique, tri-band compression binder providing individual compression settings of each band which enhances comfort. Ideal for tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty), gastric bypass (bariatric surgery), gastrointestinal and other interventions in the abdominal area.
The gentle compression speeds up healing, and supports sore abdominal muscles to improve breathing, comfort and posture. The compression relieves pain by decreasing swelling and bruising, and it counteracts the increased abdominal pressure during coughing, sneezing and straining.
Each of the 3 bands can be opened separately for access to the surgical area while support is maintained by the closed band(s).
The upper band can easily be folded down for added comfort and increased support to the lumbar region when sitting down.
When drainage systems are used, the bands can be closed above and below which eliminates separation of such systems and the related risk of infection.
Universal drainage system holders (supplied separately) can be attached to the Calla Abdominal Compression Pro without use of pins or tape.
